Day Two of Bombay Times Fashion Week 2019 Autumn-Winter edition, which began from where Day One left off, danced its way into the fourth show. The mood for the day was set right, thanks to the first show by Pallavi Goyal, titled Project Kaali which saw the creativity of a bunch of special kids. The third slot was again shared by two distinct shows – one each by Madame and Tiger Marron. There was a similarity between both the shows – their cuts and designs were basic and stylish, minimal work and pop colours.
Madame’s designs were more driven by style statements from the streets. The collection included jeans, tees, blazers, pant-suits and a whole lot of other garments that women love to flaunt. Showstopper Shreya Shankar (Femina Miss India ) wore a shimmery long gown with her studded crown, and that according to her was one of the most comfortable outfits seen on the BTFW 2019 ramp. Moving to the show’s second part – it was presented by Tiger Marron’s CEO Sahhil Nandrajog, who made sure that everyone in the audience, as well as the models walking, had fun.
Tiger Marron’s show was a combination of style and comfort. “Our brand has premium affordable designs. It was great to have Miss India (runner up) Meenakshi Chaudhary with us on our show.” Meenakshi added, “I wanted to wear black. There’s nothing that can go wrong with a black outfit, especially when it’s clubbed with Tiger Marron’s designer bag that has such a splash of colours.”
With Kalki and Payal Singhal gearing up to display their collections in the next few hours, we can already feel the heat shooting up. Stay tuned to know more about the action at BTFW 2019!
