Considering the cross-over between two industries since the Baahubali days, the Tollywood actors have made Mumbai their second home. 1. Rashmika Mandanna
Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Mission Majnu. Considering travelling to Mumbai will be a lot more on her card, the actress has bought a new home in the city. “Rashmika had been doing a lot of back and forth between Mumbai and Hyderabad, to prepare for Mission Majnu and other Bollywood projects. Now she has gotten a place of her own in the city so that her movement becomes swift,” said a source as per India Today report.
“To give the place a more homely feeling, Rashmika has brought some near and dear things from her Hyderabad home to her new house in Mumbai. She earlier had been staying in hotels, but now with her own house, she feels more attached to the city,” the source added.
2. Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun bought a 2BHK apartment in Mumbai back in 2015. The Telugu actor is very fond of the city and travels here a lot. The actor has himself designed the flat and completed the renovations in 10 days by using the art department workers from Mumbai, reports DNA. The actor’s brother Allu Sirish reveals that Bunny aka Arjun has always had a passion for interior designing.
3. Ram Charan Teja
Superstar Ram Charan Teja who rules the Telugu film industry is very keen on establishing himself in B-town as well. In 2012, the actor zeroed on a luxurious flat in Bandra close to the house of his mentor Salman Khan, reports Siasta and TOI. The same was bought with his wife Upasana Kamineni, the heiress of the Apollo chain of hospitals.
4. Kajal Agarwal
Kajal Agarwal, who recently tied the knot with businessman Gautam Kitchlu, has always called Mumbai her home. The South Indian actress who resides in Hyderabad was born in her Mumbai home. It is situated in the iconic Marine Drive, where she lives with her parents. Talking about her home in the Asian Paint video she said, “They say you can take a girl out of Mumbai but never take Mumbai out of a girl. I have travelled all over the world I have lived in different places, different cities but Mumbai is home. Always has been. Welcome to my home!”
“This particular house has been home for quite a few years, even before I was born. My parents were here for quite a few years and then I was born in this house. I have lived here all my life. So my place was always like a meeting pad, the chilling space for everyone be it family or friends. Every big celebration that I can associate with or remember, has been in this house,” she added.
Its been over a decade for Tamannah Bhatia in the Telugu and Tamil film industries and she is one of the leading ladies of the South Indian film industry. While she spends a lot of time in the South, she also owns an apartment in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala complex. The actress lives with her parents Anand Bhatia, Santosh Bhatia, and her pooch Pebbles. She paid Rs 16 crore to buy her dream sea-view apartment, reports India Today.
