Coming up with innovative and cost-effective technology solutions
Talking about the exhibition, Gaurav Arora, VP – Projects, Salaam Bombay Foundation, said, “The pandemic is far from over and schools are aware of on-ground difficulties in following SOPs to minimize risk of virus transmission. Having closely worked within the municipal and government school system since 2002, we are aware of the high risk and cost this can pose. Hence, we wish to support schools through the implementation of innovative and cost-effective technology solutions that have been created by our students.”
Supriya Thakur, a student from an academy added “My friends and I would really like to get back to school. But we are aware that common surface areas can really increase the risk of COVID spreading. So, we decided to solve our own problems. Using simple technology, we have come up with solutions that all schools can use. It gives me a lot of confidence to know that if I apply my mind and skills, I can find novel solutions.”
